The Magna Carta is SO last millennium! Our forward-thinking president has already renounced its most important provisions. It's just not relevant anymore here in the Bush Empire.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good news, David. And I hope first company gets screwed by trying to cheap it out.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I went outside and discovered a half-dozen fire engines, some ambulances, and a mobile command unit. And yet there were no firefighters, hot or otherwise, for me to ogle. Does that seem right to you?

The Magna Carta is SO last millennium!

We are so over that habeus corpus thing. And "To none will we sell, to none deny or delay, right or justice." Who cares about that anymore?

Yay job!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Turned out they actually wanted a Visual Basic programmer but only wanted to pay Word Processor rates.

Wankers.

yeah, I used to hate that when I was temping. They'd say they wanted a receptionist, but they really wanted an assistant. I would rat them right out to the agency. There would usually be some BS about how the person who placed the order didn't really know what was required . . .

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

After the amendment passed, a blogger on Homesick Texan wrote: “i don’t think it necessarily warrants all the hubbub, or the intervention of legislature to intervene on behalf of the cupcake. ... but then, another part of me is screaming ‘CUPCAKES!!!’ because they just make people happy.”

Heh.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, Emily. I've read IJ. Lots of interesting things about that book, just not 1200 pages worth.
