I have to say, I just love saying the word "Walloon".My advisory today got into a hysterical conversation about the "Whalphin" that one of the girls said she swam with in Hawaii. No idea if a Whalphin actually exists, but I really enjoyed saying the word.
The reason the ATC system hasn't been updated, apparently, is because the airlines want private fliers to pay more than they have been for maintenance. Hard to figure out who to sympathize with there.
bad baby names - I know a Richard Grippi and a Richard Small. Guess which diminutive they both choose to go by? Yep, Dick.
Well commercial airlines pay something like 95% of the cost but only generate around 70% of the traffic. Corporate jets hit something like 17% and don't even pay 1% of the cost.

In college there was a prof of the name Richard Face.
We have a "Michael Hunt" working in our London office.
Michael Hunt
Ah, highschool memories. A student's dad had that name and a student "band" wrote a song about him.
What are people doing this weekend?
I *must* get my ass into the chair and my fingers on the keyboard to write instead of reading all the SGA fic I can scrounge up.
I ought to clean my computer corner, too. It's a bad day in a writer's world when crawling under the desk looking for dust rats wins out over writing.
