River: The human body can be drained of blood in 8.6 seconds given adequate vacuuming systems. Mal: See, morbid and creepifying, I got no problem with, long as she does it quiet-like.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Yay, Kat!

Good news! Oh, so nice to see good news. Kat, I'm so glad to hear you've found a childcare solution. It looks like a wonderful environment. And Susan, YAY on no cancer!

I don't really have to stay for the rest of Back to School Night, right? I really want to go home now, but I don't get to leave until 9. Whine.

Art Crawl!!!

Susan - glad to hear your mom is okay.

ION, I read over on TWOP that the reason that the season 2 premiere of FNL is available online is that the producers are worried about a particular storyline (I can guess which one) and wanted to gauge audience reaction.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yay about the assorted good news!

I just got off the longest, rambliest, most disjointed phone call I've ever had, involving multiple breaks to say stuff to neighbors, chase dogs, listen to trains, and spill drinks. Which must have been merely the tip of the Smirnoff Iceberg from the sound of it.

Plus I got a long sob story about a breakup 9 months ago that the guy's still not over, as in can barely bring himself to leave the house as a result. Ah well, I should be thankful he didn't wait until the hypothetical first date to bust all this out.

sumi, I did watch last night - it seemed like there was a hell of a lot going on. It took me a while to get that it had been 9 months since last season, my mind is trained to think that only summer had passed.

Things that stood out for me: no mention of Smash's gf, Jason's tattoo girl/herc/ball play, or of Tim's next door neighbor. How much of a brat little Taylor is.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I hope they're listening, sumi. everyone i've seen mentioned it is very worried.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Kat! That must be a huge relief!

Yay, Susan! Continued no-cancer~ma to your mother.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Great news, Susan!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Susan, that's great news about your mother. Excellent.
