Natter 54: Right here, dammit.

Wow, Theresa! She probably doesn't remember me that well, but tell her Kathy Astrom says hi, ita!
I'm watching Cash Cab After Dark, and people keep getting questions wrong that I know--I should be in that cab, damnit! Although they did just do a street shout-out, and only after they pulled over and got a woman's attention did one of the passengers realize that she knew their shout-out. New York can be a small world!
She mentioned she squealed when she saw the b.org mention in EW. I do so love the internet.
I was going to come here and ask if people who thought black was okay to wear to a wedding would think it's okay to wear to a 5pm November wedding, but you know what? I think I will ask the bride. That way friendships here won't be fractured over this divisive topic.
For the record, should I haved nuptials and should they fall in November at 5, wear all the black you want. White's fair game too--I don't care as long as you stay off the groom's arm.
Oh, I remember her. Lovely person. ita. please stalk her on Facebook and tell her to come back here!
My sister's getting married a bit later in the evening on a Friday night in October, but the wedding party is all in black, and it just so happens that my stepmom is also wearing black (she had bought a nice dress for another event and wanted to wear it at another occasion). Probably a good idea to double-check with the bride, though.
I just went and told her not to feel shy about stopping by, even for a little. A visit would be nice.
I really really want to wear that dress Kat loaned me to the wedding, and based on what I know of the bride, she's not old school traditional or anything. But I know how much of these things have to do with family, so I'm not going to try extrapolating.
I do have a gold dress in my closet that's never been worn, as well as two ballgown skirts, similarly unworn. Sheeit. You know, I should wear one of those skirts. Dammit, I will. The question is "Pink or pewter?" And then I can wonder about blouses. If I had the one true white shirt I could be all Sharon Stone and do that. Hell, if I had a decent cashmere sweater and lived in another state I'd also be set.
Pewter!
Also, I meant to say this earlier, but rock it, paperdol! You going to spill what the pitch was for? Is this the coworker one?
The pink (it's perfect princess pink) has the advantage of everyone assuming I don't wear it--but I do, and they've all seen me do it, but it never seems to stick until the one time it goes off like an explosion of cotton candy in their brain.
Took my last Percocet. Am not happy. Can't sleep, can't think clearly, and am praying that this run of migraines is menstrually-related, because at least it'll ease up in some finite and relatively predictable time. If not...I don't know. I can't do the ER again. Acupuncture better come through either way.
Robin, does Alibelle still work with you?
Yeah, I know, about the pink. I just like pewter.
Did you find your steroids earlier?
Yes she does!
Sorry--just spoke to her this past weekend, and I also can't think of that skirt without thinking of her. It even has a splash of crystals on the waistband.
Now I need to go Bluefly and find the right top.
I do love Bluefly.
