I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Help! Last year, or the year before maybe, someone here ran into a bunch of pirates on a bus. Or something like that. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Okay I am loving the American Girl hippie doll sooo much.

So today in honor of Talk Like a Pirate Day I dressed Isaac in his Jolly Roger t-shirt, and he obliged me by giving me an "Arrr!" as he said goodbye at daycare.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can definitely understand those of you who are teachers, or who have kids (young kids, especially) getting flu shots. Kids are incubators from hell.

Totally. Or healthcare workers or anything where you spend a lot of time in contact with The Public, really.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

brenda, Matilda and I ran into a large band of pirates a couple of months ago on the premiere date of POTC:AWE. Nobody was thoroughly garbed up, but there were lots of stripy shirts and eyepatches and cardboard cutlasses and such, and a general and infectious air of boisterous privateering enthusiasm.

Slowest day ever. Y/N?

YES. and dear god, why?

Also, oof.

I love Talk Like a Pirate Day. Though I'm not participating today. I am, however, getting nudgey things done.
