God bless Panera. Rather than stress myself with fighting the rush hour traffic to get to evening class on time, I'm setting out more than an hour early, and going to sit with my laptop and a muffin in the Panera near the school.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Bon, urgent care, if you haven't already.
I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but if anyone here got a random Facebook friend request last week from some weird person? That was probably me.
I'd totally forgotten I even HAD one.
You opened the b.org floodgates!
Also? Until I logged in and saw the picture, despite having known your Given First Name, I totally thought it was random Facebook spamming, because I didn't believe your full name was real.
Panera is of the good. I'm having dinner at Bennigan's tonight then it is back to the hotel for a few hours of ProTools editing.
I am having my National Cheeseburger Day cheeseburger!
Hey, if there's anyone pro-choice in the Chicago area, maybe pick up a lawn sign in support of the clinic Planned Parenthood is trying to open in Aurora? [link]
I had a cheeseburger for lunch yesterday so I opted for seafood tonight. I think I'm going to get death by chocolate for desert now.
Happy birthday, erika!
Agent dug my pitch
That's great!
Good luck to you in finding a workable solution, Kat. I'm sorry the childcare didn't work out.
I will strike up a casual conversation with almost anyone as long as they don't seem like they're going to try and continue the relationship. On the other hand, sometimes, I suspect I'm closed off to the point of being rude. I don't mean to be rude; I'm really just shy. Except when I'm totally not.
Or, what juliana said.
I love staying in hotels. Room service, clean sheets and towels and bathroom that I didn't have to clean myself, and a lock on the door. I love traveling, too. I'd love it more if I could learn to pack less stuff.
I can talk to strangers pretty easily. But being introverted, it takes an effort. Often I decide it's not worth the effort.
OK, help me out with how to not sound like a jackass:
The company is paying for my move: the packing, shipment, and delivery of my stuff.
But I want to store it for a month. Fine, but I have to pay for it. I'm told the cost involves (approximately) $250 for "delivery into the vault", a certain amount per day, and then $800 for "load from vault and delivery to residence"
Now, my thought is, if I WEREN'T sending it to storage, the delivery would be covered. So I want to ask if they're calculating that correctly, or if they're accidentally charging me for a delivery fee that should be covered.
On the other hand, it's possible the first one is cheap not because they can quick offload into a storage unit, but because some portion is covered.
How do I ask about this without sounding like a bitch? I don't want to piss people off, but I'm not good with wording like that. And I know the buffistas are.
Ha ha -- guess what I'm doing right now? If you guessed "rebooting my cable box, like I've had to do every day since I got it last week," you're right! I hate this fucking thing. Tonight's good times is suddenly no channels at all. The next time I'm in town over the weekend, I might just bring it back, because this is BULLSHIT. And it takes like five minutes to reboot.
