The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I have six out of ten of those, and no interest in owning the missing 4.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I have a feeling Jilli's 6 are not the same as my 6.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I've just tossed out my pitch for my second book

Eeee!

I had several LBDs, but only a few of them fit at the moment. I should be more upset about this fact, but I just can't be bothered to care right now.

---

You know what sucks? Finding out after you have left multiple messages for advisee parents that you are giving them the WRONG NUMBER. And they have been trying to reach you for a week. And getting a random stranger who does not work at the school instead.

Argh.

Sometimes I hate IT people. I mean, mostly I love them, but this new guy just can't seem to be bothered to tell teachers important facts such as, "Hey, you know that new voicemail extension you got two weeks late? Unlike every other voicemail extension, it cannot be dialed directly. Parents need to call the school and then enter your extension."

Yes, that little tidbit might have been useful to know before I'd pissed off seven sets of parents.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

OOH, let's guess which 4 Jilli is missing!

My guess:
02 Trench Coat
03 Classic Dress Pants
08 Jeans
09 Sweatsuit Alternative

Lee, you got three of them right.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know Jilli has a sweatsuit alternative because she exercises in bloomers.

Paperdol, that's very exciting.

    • Basic Black Dress--okay, the one I chose before isn't basic, it's too dressy. I'd probably go with the Old Navy wrap, since it's very versatile. Changes up very easily with jewellery or a camisole
    • Trenchcoat--kinda
    • Classic Dress Pants--need replacing
    • Blazer--yes, but I never wear it. Or, really, 4, but I never wear them. Wait...5 if you count the velvet. God I suck.
    • Skirt--yes. Just yes.
    • Classic White Shirt--I loved the one Rebecca bought in the one ep I saw. So much nicer than the ones I have, but the main reason they languish is because they're so transparent on me, and most of the year's too warm to wear a camisole underneat my shirt. Oh, and some of them need cufflinks.
    • Day Dress--almost as many as I have skirts, sadly.
    • Jeans--three pairs, two sizes, one style. So very hooked up.
    • Sweatsuit alternative--yes, for all meanings of the term. But Rebecca ended up in a skirt for hers, which was weird
    • Cashmere sweater--never going to be a staple of my wardrobe
    • Bonus--the amazing dress?

Okay, substitute classic dress pant for sweatpant alternative?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I really don't know why you couldn't.

Good. I will then. I really hate heels.

Tim Gunn's Top 10:

Ayup. I don't own a single one of those items. Not one, right now.

And I'm pretty unclear about the sweatsuit alternative thing. Wasn't the one from this past show a dress? I don't know in whose universe any sort of dress can substitute for a sweatsuit.

Although I've been pretty happy with my Danskin yoga pants as a sweatpant alternative. I sleep in them and then roll out of bed to do television yoga in the morning. Then I'm stretched and alert and ready to eat and for the day. It totally rocks. I might buy a few more pairs while I know I can get them. And they work just fine to run outside to put the dog out or take out the trash or whatever. I could probably head to the pharmacy in them, too.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Tim may be a wonderful mentor for Parsons students, but that list is bullshit.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

1. Basic Black Dress-- kickass sheath/tank dress that looks classy and sexy. Also have eleventy-billion other LBDs, ranging from ethereal to slutty as hell.
2. Trenchcoat-- vintage 70's camel-colored leather
3. Classic Dress Pants-- I had a pair of women's tux pants, but I've lost too much weight for them to fit properly.
4. Blazer-- B&W pinstripe, don't wear anymore because I can go much more rocker-chick at work now
5. Skirt-- Yes. Many.
6. Classic White Shirt-- French cuffed. Don't wear anymore either. Need to get it pressed & starched.
7. Day Dress-- a few, need more.
8. Jeans-- I don't think my jeans look all that good on me, but I'm not wearing them for the look, I'm wearing them to ride.
9. Sweatsuit alternative-- Yes? I guess? I mean, I work out, and I have slounging clothes, and nothing is a sweatsuit....
10. Cashmere sweater-- No.
11. Bonus-- Half of my wardrobe.
