Joe isn't always loving and supportive of Allison. Check out Season 1. he was kind of an asshole that season and questioning her left and right.
He has had to take leaps of faith, which I suppose decimating their daughters' college fund is, but to get all huffy about it as if he was DUE it, when what he really needed to do was get a fucking job.
Oh that's true, he was a skeptic in Season 1, although I didn't take it seriously; he so was the proxy for the audience, and he came around nicely. Hm, remember when the script implied he was having an affair? I would never watch the show again if he ever did.
Eh, I agree with the character that he was due it. Quid pro quo. YJoeMMV? He has been trying to get a job; as he pointed out, there are only a few places in town that hire rocket scientists. He nearly had one that sounded perfect, then (fuzzy on details) the guy sold the business or something.... something to do with a cocktail party.
Bridgette is so adorable!
Looks like it's a new CSI and WAT tonight.
The guy sold the business to the company that Joe had been working for originally - so, effectively, there is only ONE company he could work for in that town.
I love that Grissom has a boxer.
Joe could be a substitute teacher! Yes, if he wanted to be an aerospace engineer, there were 2 places...but did they talk about moving? Something quick he could be doing in the meantime?
I'm just not a Joe fan right now. I don't like huffy.
I missed some of CSI. I'm pretty sure I caught a promo intimating that we'd find out (via Burroughs?) more about Sara and Grissom. Did we? I saw the phone call at the end; was that what they were talking about?
Joe would be a good substitute teacher! I don't think they ever talked about that possibility. He talked about having to move to find work but Alison nixed the idea.
Does anyone know when/if new
Bones
starts?
Did you guys notice that last week on
Without a Trace
the baddies were played by Nick Wechsler and Henry Thomas? Thus linking
Roswell
and
et.
Oh wow. I was just thinking recently how much depth and interest there was to that character that I hadn't noticed in the early days.
