Is there something vaguely different about Ioan Gruffudd's face?
I think it's just the distinct lack of pocket squares.
I did like the "why didn't you just push him away? Oh" bit, but, yeah, not my favorite cliche.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

If Tiva kiss this episode, they might have a more charged ship than Destiel, but only might. Jeez, I forget the writers even pretended they were a thing...
Elementary: daaaaaaamn, Jonny Lee Miller. Talking about his sobriety anniversary? Blew. Me. Away.
I was, to put it mildly, unimpressed by Joan's gift.
I desperately wanted it to be a deerstalker hat.
I wanted it to be anything but a badly calligraphed, badly framed lame quote.
I wanted Holmes to make a Charles Bronson joke in dismissal.
I didn't find the quote lame at all. I love Robert Frost.
Neat twist, in the story, Milverton's death is the climax, not the crux of the mystery.
Frost that I would have liked better:
One luminary clock against the sky
Proclaimed the time was neither wrong nor right.
I have been one acquainted with the night.
O Star (the fairest one in sight)
We grant your loftiness the right
To some obscurity of cloud —
It will not do to say of night,
Since dark is what brings out your light.
Some mystery becomes the proud.
But to be wholly taciturn
In your reserve is not allowed.
Say something to us that we can learn
By heart and when alone repeat.
Say something! And it says "I burn."
The only way out is through.
Isn't that from two different poems? "Acqainted with the Night" talks about going to the edges of town.
