It's a two parter, so next week should be all about revenge .

Seriously, guys--no need to whiteftont.
But thanks for the heads up.
I ended up watching it before I came back to the tread, and found the timing of the shooting made it look like they'd both be dead--you do that at 45 minutes in, there's going to be some dealing with death (once you've established Vance survives), I figured. Enough time for two people.
Oh, man. That episode of Elementary gave me a lot of feelings. I seriously love this show a lot.
That really was good. I should have figured it wouldn't be straightforward, but I was surprised.
Yeah.
I'm not really familiar with canon, but does anyone think they were setting up Irene Adler not really being dead/in cahoots with Moriarty? Did they say whether or not she was one of the bodies that wasn't recovered?
I was wondering if she would/will turn out to not be dead. I don't remember whether Holmes specifically said he saw her body. (And even so, I suppose that could still turn out to have been a ruse.)
The great thing is that it is still possible that Allistair is Moriarty.

Hmmm. Intriguing.
I liked that. This show continues to please me.
