"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I actually got excited and clapped my hands when Watson said her name.

I'm not saying I'm disappointed, just surprised and maybe a bit skeptical. I wonder if this means we should expect Moriarty as well.

Art Crawl!!!

I thought it would rock if Alastair turned out to be Moriarty.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

With the screwed up relationship Sherlock has with his father, I think Mycroft would have a lot of potential to be an interesting addition as well.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Castle has some really funny scenes. The one with the songwriter was hilarious.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, it was. The "cut to black - musical sting" business cracked me up every time.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I like Castle best when it is being funny. Not that I don't get why they need to mix in some seriousness. But I love that they sometimes approach classic screwball comedy.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

They were letting Nathan be Nathan on that one. The Castle theme stinger made me laugh like a loon. All of the character interactions with the camera were hilarious.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I get the bromance in the face of manpain H50 was going for--it's the oxygen, the lifeblood of some audience reaction. But if I tell you to step the fuck back so someone I trust raises my child if I die please do it. Dying with me is not a touching gesture of confidence. We'll both be similarly still alive if you're half a block over that way.

I mean, I get the theory (and emotion) behind it, but this isn't just two comrades in arms. There's a kid here. Who's going to raise her? Steve's GF? MOM? Kono? Kelly? NO I ASKED YOU.

Sorry. I'm evidently irritated by many things today. Maybe more tisane is warranted.

Well, her mom and stepdad will raise her. But I have a visceral dislike of the plan to not acknowledge that bad outcome and then it won't happen that Steve seemed to be working under, so I am essentially with you. Move to safety, dude.
