I'm very curious about Dad, too. I'm more interested in how they'll play with the various canon points. Making him English and connected with Scotland Yard but putting him in New York is intriguing. The way they dealt with the opera was nice, as well.

And I'm not convinced that his "Oh, I knew she'd open up to you if I was rude" schtick isn't just him covering his butt after miscalculations.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I'm not convinced thathis "Oh, I knew she'd open up to you if I was rude" schtick isn't just him covering his butt after miscalculations.

He acknowledged that later.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

For those waiting for the boys to make up on Castle, you can rest easy. Just not in a sports bar.

The opening scene was, again, adorbs. I like the way they're handling the relationship so far. They have insecurities and misunderstandings but they do talk eventually. It's fun so far. I don't believe for a second that Lanie doesn't know exactly what's going on though. Castle's not-jealous reaction would have been a total give away.

I hate the whole uncomfortable "I'm not supposed to be jealous but I am jealous" thing.

I liked that they addressed the need for changing that damned wall color on NCIS. When I saw the place blow up, the first thing I said, "Oh, maybe they'll redecorate!"

edit: And they went back to Abby's brother! And a callback to the nightmares that plagued her back in Season 1. One of the things I like best about NCIS is that they remember their own history.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think a couple of them remember too much, and could stand to evolve a bit over the seventeen years of the series.

I haven't watched any Bones this season. Is there any reason why I should? I'm thinking I could stand to lose a show or two from my queue.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Amy Acker has been scary fun on Persons of Interest.

I am super rolling my eyes at H50.

I was just telling Dana earlier today that I can't watch H50 with my full attention because then I start noticing that they aren't jumping the shark, no, they're parasailing that fucking shark.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm acquiring the theory that the people behind this American Sherlock Holmes have never actually read Sherlock Holmes.
