Poster for "Major Crimes", the sequel for "The Closer". Interesting. No Chief Pope and no David Gabriel, but Fritz is there.

Which leads to the (possible) resolution of "who is the leak" question. My guess is that it will be David's fiancee. I've thought for a while that all of Brenda's people are too loyal to leak and that there's no reason for Pope to be it - anything that damages the unit, damages his plans for advancement. However, one of the team's significant others are a different issue. Mind you, until now, no one had a significant other besides either Brenda and Tao.

Now that we know David's been seeing this girl for over a year and that she's a budding lawyer, she seems much more of a possibility.

I will also be interested to see why Fritz is still there if Brenda's not.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

And the tech guy has a badge when he used to be a civilian employee - or did that change happen before and I just don't remember it?

Should this be in spoilers?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yes, I agree that David's GF is the leak. He told Rader that he discusses everything with her. As a lawyer to be, this insider knowledge would be a great way to get an in with an unscrupulous attorney.

I think that David will leave because he feels so guilty. Either that, or he will follow Brenda wherever she goes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Should this be in spoilers?

It's standard promotional material, isn't it? I've been seeing ads with that lineup all over TNT.

So Rader is going to be running Major Crimes. Hopefully while Brenda is rotting in a cell ....? But it will surprise me if that actually happens. Might explain why wottisface stays though. He needs to stay in the area to take advantage of visiting hours.

Did not need to be said twice.

My bad. I hadn't seen anything on TV that specifically said who was in and who was out, but I FF through a lot of ads.

I like the idea that David follows Brenda wherever she moves to. It'll be interesting to see what the writers do.

I would kind of like to see Brenda and Raydor switch jobs. I think it would do Brenda a world of good to see things through Force Investigation eyes. I don't know that she'd be particularly good at it, but it would be good for her.
