Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Thanks, bon, that threw me too.

But if you want an in show reason. Given why she picked Stanford, and how she was planning all classes based on her BF, that quite likely came across in the essay.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

If I can really pull the trigger and drop cable, I just figured out the silver lining - there is no way in hell I am paying money to watch NCIS. I would probably pay someone to come take it off of my dvr record list.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Cass, it's possible to lead a rich, full life without cable (as long as you have the internet). And, as far as I can tell, NCIS is on broadcast TV - I mean, I can watch it and I don't have cable.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I don't think she wants that kind of enabling. she needs help to stop watching!

Yeah, I can watch it online but I really need to break up with that show while still continuing my fling with NCIS: LA.

I just ... NCIS and I have not been in a healthy relationship for a while and it needs to end.

my fling with NCIS: LA.

What appeals to you about West Coast NCIS versus East Coast NCIS?

Sam and Callen. They are sort of Danny and Rusty married and I like them together. Banter and extreme competence.

I feel like the NCIS characters (or show writers, if I go meta) have been doing this for so long that there's no where to go.

No way can I believe that both Ziva and Scary Dude were both so bad at trying to shoot each other that they emptied all of their clips and had to go hand-to-hand. Just so we could have that long gunfire exchange and music while the miracle baby is born during the holiday ep. Because, well, Ziva is kinda competent. It's the thing she is more than anything.

Clearly the show has just lost magic for me.
