Actually, I thought she said something to the effect that she talked to everyone, "even guys like you," which I thought was very out of character for J.J. to say.

Right, and right again! That was really weird for her.

(Although I do love when Reid's Vegas background pops up.)

Yeah, they've given him the most detailed background, probably because it's such a rich canvas for the writers--Vegas childhood apparently leads to card sharking and magician skills, even if he wasn't a genius.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

However, the rather heavy-handed team stuff seemed shoehorned into the ep, although I liked each of the elements on its own. They're still trying to find the right groove, which is sad from a show that's in its seventh season, and just shows how much of an upheaval firing AJ and Paget was last season, and then losing Ed Bernero due to all the screwing around by TPTB at the network.

I think it has been broken too much to be put back together for me. Which is sad. I loved the team, I loved their interactions. But they broke them too far and they don't seem to have the behind the scenes talent to put them back together convincingly enough for me.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

This season's been disapponting so far, but I plan to stick with it until either they get their act(s) together, or I just burn out on them.

I'm burning out. I totally was okay with it being all fractured and dealing with anger and betrayal at the beginning. But then there was a magic dinner party and everything is fine?

And I was excited at the start of the season. I love having all of the team together and the actors seem to be so happy. But I am burning out.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I am too. I am coming to realize that TV is almost work for me. I need to cut down. I have 6 eps of True Blood on my Tivo, and no real desire to watch them. I might just forward through for scenes with Lafayette or shirtless Alcide or Eric.

Vortex,

I don't know what to tell you about TB. I watch the show out of inertia, but you might want to just hold on to those eps until next summer. Nothing pressing about watching them now. I didn't like the season finale.

Re: CM, I think maybe I will watch from where I started, which is this season, and that way I won't know the good and bad of what's been before. Then, when it ends, I'll have the first six(?) seasons ahead of me.

CSI is so enjoyable right now. I love the actress who played Vinnie's wife/the killer.

Do we talk about Psych in here?

That's a really good idea!

Art Crawl!!!

I think Psych goes in the cable thread.

I really am enjoying csi this season.

I am almost caught up on Prime Suspect - finally watched last week's episode: that was a good one.

And have this week's episode for tonight.

I really enjoyed this week's CSI, too. It's always good when Greg gets to geek out over Vegas mob history, and Russell saying, "I shot Greg" to the new ballistics person was hilarious.
