I really enjoyed this week's CSI, too. It's always good when Greg gets to geek out over Vegas mob history, and Russell saying, "I shot Greg" to the new ballistics person was hilarious.

That's a really good idea!

Thank you! I figured so, after the talk I've heard randomly over the past couple of years, and then specifically in here.

I think Psych goes in the cable thread.

Thanks, LeN.

Is anyone watching NCIS?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Is anyone watching NCIS?

Yes. But I can't really figure out why. Apart from it being on right before NCIS: LA and, apparently, I'd feel guilty not recording NCIS too?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I watch NCIS pretty regularly. Although I haven't seen this week's yet, I was over at a friend's watching scary movies.

NCIS is my comfort TV. (I'm playing one of my DVDs again on my other screen right now)

It's been fairly hit or miss the past season or so, but it's generally amusing enough for me to keep watching.

Yes, NCIS is comfort TV for me, too. I really just sort of like the characters; a lot of the arcs are lost on me, because I've watched so much in syndication.

This last ep, though, I was stunned by how much that dude looked like Abby! I need to go check and see whether they're related. It was spooky.

Oddly, he was played by her ex-boyfriend. Um, I follow her on Twitter. Which, sadly, does not tell me how to get my skin to look as good as hers.

Yeah, they really did look similar. I was really surprised.

Wrod! I thought "Good lord, is that CGI? Does she have a brother who acts?"

I'm sort of hoping Abby turns out to be the daughter of someone a little creepy so we can have some nice "Is my spookiness due to heredity, and if so, should I be worried?"

But how cute was it that Abby's brother rescues puppies?

Oddly, he was played by her ex-boyfriend.

That's wild!

But how cute was it that Abby's brother rescues puppies?

Positively adorable.

USA is having a McGee NCIS marathon, and there are some really good eps, including the usual McGee-centric eps ("Witness," "Probie," "Twisted Sister," and "Cover Story"), but also a few that feature others ("Grace Period," where Paula Cassidy's team is killed by a suicide bomber, and "Smoked," with the serial killer found smoked in the school chimneystack).
