You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Have they backed off their staunch sit-down-and-watch-it-Wednesday stance? I remember seeing that in interview, Bernero, I think.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

It appears the only hold-up now is the two-studio production. CBS and ABC can't figure out how to play nicely for that kind of stuff. Messer (the new showrunner) is all about the fan interaction and service. They are a social media machine these days with an official set twitter account, and some pretty funny behind the scenes pieces, including a music video that involves the entire cast and crew.

Thrive to spite them

I found it on CBS.com . It seems they are waiting a few days to air it.

Does the preview of L&O:UK (Peter Davison!) mean that Jamie Bamber survives, or is that just leftover footage?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Did anyone watch Prime Suspect? I'm watching it right now, and I'm not enjoying it.

I didn't, sj. It didn't appeal to me from the promos. What do you not like about it?

I found all the characters annoying and unsympathetic.

Yeah, the lead didn't appeal to me at all from the promos, even. Couldn't imagine a whole show, and I'm not that hard to hook into at least watching.

The lead had some good moments but was mostly annoying. And the supporting cast could give the characters on Mad Men a serious run for their money in the sexism department.
