I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's Larisa Olenyik, AKA, the younger sister Bianca, from 10 Things I Hate About You.

....huh. So it is.

“Not dead yet!”

Yes, but I cannot see him doing his own dirty work.

I thought the same thing and the one thought that occurred was that he's at this point where McGarrett inches closer and closer and he simply doesn't/can't trust anyone. So if he wants his plans to fall into place, he needs to tie the loose ends up himself.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, I didn't realize it at first, but her psychiatrist is Worf. Awesome.

I'm just so glad she went back for more therapy! The whole episode I wanted to tell her to do that....

Right? You are so not OK, lady!

OK, let me just get this out of my system, because I have huge love for Castle, the show and character. I was so bugged when he was talking to his mom about how he could steer her away from the investigation. Like, he could trick her easily into doing what he wanted without her even realizing it. History doesn't support that, I don't think. She's obviously vulnerable right now, so I get why he was able to do it within the framework of the show, but it kind of irritated me when he sounded so sure of his power to compel her. I didn't like how it was written.

It was the aspect of tricking her into it, and how sure he was that he could control the outcome, that I didn't like. He definitely has talked her into things before, but she's been well aware. I wish it had been more, I hate to deceive her, but I feel like I have to for her own good. Which isn't all THAT much better but would've felt right...er. Over analzing? I'm not usually like this.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I thought the whole ep on the whole was written VERY poorly. Just about the only thing I liked in the ep was the interaction between Esposito & Ryan (which lasted maybe 30 seconds). You brought up a problem, but it is not even close to being the only issue I had.

I thought this was a disappointing premiere. I hope next week is better.

brillig

I haven't seen the finale from last season, and I didn't watch last night, because I knew there's be more unCastle-like angst. It's beginning to sound like I should just wait for next week.

Yes, I do want Castle to be fluff, and I'm not ashamed.

So, not over analyzing, then? Good!

The new captain, though? Oh, I feel ya', McPalmer. She was right about pretty much everything. I was so pissed at Beckett for walking in with such an attitude! And why the hell shouldn't she have to requalify?? Ladies and gents, she's setting boundaries. I will cut Beckett slack in that she is not over the shooting yet.

I hope it is much more regular Castle next week, too.
