My DVR always thinks they are reruns because they already aired in Britain, but it's a new season [link]
'War Stories'
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
The tivo said that the air date was 7/10/11, so I knew that it was wrong, it must have been the british air date.
I have the same problem with Being Human and, well, most things on BBCAmerica. The DVR knows too many facts and doesn't understand them well enough, it seems.
They're having a marathon leading up to the new (to us) season.
I'm watching an episode of L&O:UK right now and it is so weird to watch. It started exactly like an episode of L&O original flavor that I have seen many times but then it became very different, with a new suspect and the character that did it in the original episode doesn't even seem to be in it. I don't usually watch L&O:UK because I am just watching it for the differences rather than just enjoying it for what it is.
I love the L&O:UK team. I hope that I will like the new cast too.
I was watching an old Criminal Minds - "Cradle to Grave" - and something occurred to me. At the end, Morgan is talking to the woman, who's suffering from cancer and trying to talk her into giving up the newborn she's holding. I'm looking at the light reflecting off their two heads and it hits me - she's been giving her drugs to her husband's captive women so they will get pregnant and carry the babies to term. So howcome she's bald?
IIRC, she's been giving them some of the hormone-related drugs you take. She was apparently still getting chemo by infusion.
ah ... I wondered. Thanks.
When's Castle back? (I love this time of year, when we can ask about new seasons)
