Don't worry, I'm not gonna start any sword fights. I'm over that phase.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm watching an episode of L&O:UK right now and it is so weird to watch. It started exactly like an episode of L&O original flavor that I have seen many times but then it became very different, with a new suspect and the character that did it in the original episode doesn't even seem to be in it. I don't usually watch L&O:UK because I am just watching it for the differences rather than just enjoying it for what it is.

Art Crawl!!!

I love the L&O:UK team. I hope that I will like the new cast too.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I was watching an old Criminal Minds - "Cradle to Grave" - and something occurred to me. At the end, Morgan is talking to the woman, who's suffering from cancer and trying to talk her into giving up the newborn she's holding. I'm looking at the light reflecting off their two heads and it hits me - she's been giving her drugs to her husband's captive women so they will get pregnant and carry the babies to term. So howcome she's bald?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

IIRC, she's been giving them some of the hormone-related drugs you take. She was apparently still getting chemo by infusion.

When's Castle back? (I love this time of year, when we can ask about new seasons)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OMG, I hate whatsername from the Closer. What does Fritz see in her? She's horrible.

Trust my rage

I tend to enjoy the Closer but her relationship with Fritz drives me nuts. He is so nice and puts up with so much shit and she only seems to care when he calls her on it.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

They're having a marathon leading up to the new (to us) season

I missed the last couple of episdodes of the season. When's the marathon going to be on?

her relationship with Fritz drives me nuts

One of the things that really drives me batty is the way she sits there drinking her honking big glasses of merlot in front of him. It just seems that it would be a small enough gesture for her to not drink alcohol in the house, given that he's an alcholic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The neuroticism, the cancelling of everything...normally I'd be pissed at Fritz for going behind her back with the money, but at this point avoiding any conversation seems perfect self-preservation.
