Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Neil Gaiman has said the same. Lots of money, nothing happens.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The Castle books are kind of like a longish episode. They're quick and fun.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

With Castle, I got the impression that yes, he's as successful as a James Patterson and could get input, should he so desire, but that he's just arrogant enough (in that charming Castle way) to not feel as if he needed it because who would change his words?

Haven't seen the episode yet, but I've known a couple authors who've waived away input on film adaptations, because they couldn't be bothered. And I can imagine any agent who represents Castle saying, "You know what? Pay us a little more, and we can keep him out of it, all together. Really. Do you want him calling you at all hours with script ideas? It won't end. Trust me. I know."

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And I can imagine any agent who represents Castle saying, "You know what? Pay us a little more, and we can keep him out of it, all together. Really. Do you want him calling you at all hours with script ideas? It won't end. Trust me. I know."

Ha! I think you nailed it, victor.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

this is a public service.

tonight's CSI features Carrot Top. I received no warning. Friends don't let friends see Carrot Top without warning.

OMG.

Thank goodness I chose Bones. (Even if it's a repeat.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Amy Acker has a quick part in the ep too (to be fair), but I don't think she makes up for Carrot Top.

Oh, and CT is barely clothed in his appearance. To add insult to injury.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Thanks, le n, it definitely helped to be forewarned for that.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

sumi, I think you're right.

All the baiting was uber-childish, and especially irritating as he walks away and the agents have to deal with the fallout. (Though I really did want somebody to put the loudmouth blonde fighter down, I think I was praying for "2 hits - me hitting you, you hitting the floor" for him).

Heavy stuff with Rigsby & Cho, though. I was thinking as Cho was being questioned and LeWhat'sHisFace kept hitting the "on your honor" that the witchhunt that LeWhat'sHisFace is clearly on against Rigsby is so dishonorable that that's the only thing that enabled Cho to lie.
