You're fucking kidding me, right?

Kathy, no. Check Spoilers for deets. It started that way and morphed into what I posted. Deadline.com reported it first, then came the usual suspects.
Vortex, I wish.
Nope, that's what I read at TWOP.
ETA: X-posted with MFN.
Seriously? That bites.
Yep, though I appreciate Paget's great big FU to the producers and network.
Check out AJ Cook's twitter (@ajcookofficial) for a snarky response to the latest development.

Oooh, what's that?
TPTB did some backpedaling and offered to reinstate her original deal for the full season--24 eps. The reworked one kept her a series regular, but she'd only appear on 17 episodes and she's allowed to do a pilot. PB told them no, she'll stick with the current deal. She's made noises about wanting to go back to comedy.
Yeah, I'm going to miss her if she ultimately leaves, but I can't blame her one bit for wanting to give them the big ol' one-fingered salute.
I need to find out who wrote this ep of CM and smack them straight upside the head. Seriously? That was some massive 2x4ish storytelling with a healthy dose of Mary Sue.
I liked the actress and even the character well enough (facially she actually reminded me a bit of Elle), but she really wasn't given much to work with.
I thought that the character was very uneven. How does a recruit who runs the obstacle course in her spare time and got a concussion in hand to hand combat not be able to handle an unsub that she knows is dangerous? It's not even like he caught her by surprise.
I will be very upset if the whitefont comes true I dislike that actress, I didn't mind her in the Inside, since her annoying demeanor worked with the character, but I will have to bitchslap Eddie personally if he keeps her on. Seriously.

Action-wise she did too. Which is probably why I feel so icky.
Because while strong female agents would be yay, women who do stupid things and then need to be rescued by the mens is less yay.
If it was Garcia, sure. She's not a field agent. But show me someone who is supposed to run the course, be strong and be a survivor and then she's whoopsie trapped by a bad guy she specifically should have been able to at least feel unsure about? Not loving it. At least they made her young so that's a little handwave.
Eh.
