Last night's CM reruns on Ion included "Bloodline," about the Romani-esque family who were kidnapping brides for their 10-year-old son and killing the girls' parents. Kept that one on the dvr because it was so damn creepy.
Then there was "Cold Comfort," which crammed in more known-to-me guest stars than I'd ever seen on a tv episode before. There was Mercedes McNab (yay, Harmony!), Michael Biehn (Hicks!), Cybil Shepherd, Lolita Davidovich, and someone I hadn't seen in years, Randolph Mantooth (still looking pretty damn good).
OMG, that was Randolph Mantooth? I was just thinking about him the other day. I once met his brother at a theatre in Iowa.
Yep, it was him as the unsub's father! He's in the Mark Harmon Still Smokin' Hot All These Years Later wing of the Gorgeous Guys Museum.

::nods::
I had SUCH a crush on him back in the Emergency! 51 days.
Me TOO. Oy. So hot.
I just saw Mantooth in a super indie film the other day. He's definitely out of retirement.
MGG posted a fun cast photo of him, Paget, AJ, Shemar, and TG. His hair actually looks good for once!
I got that pic from the TWOP forum. I've been reading their original posts from the S4 eps as I watch them on Ion, and I'm highly amused by the fact that everyone there is convinced that Reid is getting some due to his newfound ability to dress somewhat snazzily after his two-part episodes. Did they ever talk about his new wardrobe on the show?
I like it, btw--the quality jackets and toned-down shirts with the layering of his usual sweaters really makes him look professional for the first time. After the S4 finale is aired, Ion is going back to S1, and I'll have to get used to his dorky patterned shirts and sweater vests again.
Maybe he's getting some, maybe he's just finally growing up and becoming more aware of the world around him. After all, character-wise, he's nearing thirty, so there's that.
I think that it's just Reid maturing. His character has progressed significantly. I remember particularly noticing it in the ep with Jonathan Frakes when he's accusing/telling him about the molestation and its effects. In that scene, he's intent, confident, and a little confrontational. In previous years, he was more hesitant, made less eye contact, etc.
I also noticed a change in Reid in the episode that MGG directed. I wonder if his portrayal in that episode changed the way that they looked at Reid.
