This is the story of a Procedural.
Long, but worth the read.

Holy crap, that was great.
Wow, yeah. That was great!
Ion's in the midst of running S4 of Criminal Minds, which I'm now getting caught up on. Last night had "Paradise," with Wil Wheaton as the rapist/murderer/hotel operator and William Mapother as one of his latest victims. Not a good ep at all, but it did have probably my favorite Hotch one-liner of all time (re: Garcia after one of her wacky sign-offs), "Remind me to get her drug-tested."
OMG, Kathy! I was coming to post the same thing! That line made the whole episode for me!
To follow up on that Hotch comment about Garcia, last night's reruns had the second of the Reid-centric 2 parter set in Vegas, when he's trying to find the truth about a kid's death from his childhood. Morgan calls Garcia for info on the case while both Prentiss and Hotch are in her office, and Garcia's teasing Morgan about what he's doing in Vegas. He tells her he prefers in-room entertainment, and she tells him, "I give good phone!" Hotch's deadpan look at Prentiss is priceless.
Who says Hotch has no sense of humor?!
Hotch has a great sense of humor. It's just so dry, it gives the Mojave a run for its money.
"Dry as a desert breeze, cool as an oasis."
A lot of good Criminal Minds eps on Ion this week! Season 4 had some very strong storylines going.
One thing that came to me after seeing all the articles that Reid's dad had about Spencer and then hearing Reid say that he gets all the weird fans after meeting Jason Alexander in "Masterpiece" was that we never see them do PR outside of the press conferences during the cases themselves, but we know that it's happening. Also, the profilers seem to be rather high profile since Reid is recognized at that Clean Cops support group meeting by a muckety-muck at the FBI. Do they ever talk about that in later episodes, or is it just Rossi who gets the big press in the group due to his books?
