And her former partner, the character actor whose name I can't remember right now -- I really liked that he had a wall calendar behind his desk with three Golden Retriever puppies on it.
Yeah. I wish they hadn't gone to a "this case is personal" place so fast, but that's a minor quibble. (Also the mom does not seem old enough to be AH's mom, but whatev.)
Mostly I liked it more than I thought.
