I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

“Not dead yet!”

I watched The Glades and while I'd agree that the pilot was a bit disjointed and off-putting in places, I want to like it, if only because, like Burn Notice, they actually film in South Florida and the creator is a native and it's nice to see sights that aren't the Venetian Causeway (*coughCSIHORATIONCAINE'SSUNGLASSEScough*)

It's like I can see what they're trying to do with the characters, I just think they were a bit clumsy with it in the pilot.

Always Anti-fascist!

Most pilots kind of blow...Treme's was the best I saw this year(Not to talk about Treme in here.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The Closer: I love how Brenda getting lost in the new precinct mirrors her constantly getting lost in LA in the first season.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My DVR cut off before the big announcement at the end of The Closer. Can anyone tell me what happened.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

White fonting just in case:

The chief of the whole LAPD is retiring and it looks like wottisname, Brenda's boss is going to be the replacement. But the episode ends before we know for sure, so maybe he will be surprised and not get the job.

Thanks, Typo Boy! That is pretty much what I figured.

I was going to complain about the stereotypical Italian mother in Rizzoli and Isles, until she walked into her daughter's apartment and immediately starts cleaning the kitchen. That is so my mother.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I know she was stereotypical, but I loved the delivery in this exchange between them. "I hope your brother's okay out there.... Your father's out there too." "You brought DAD!?! Did you bring the dog, too?"

And her former partner, the character actor whose name I can't remember right now -- I really liked that he had a wall calendar behind his desk with three Golden Retriever puppies on it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah. I wish they hadn't gone to a "this case is personal" place so fast, but that's a minor quibble. (Also the mom does not seem old enough to be AH's mom, but whatev.)

Mostly I liked it more than I thought.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Okay, tell me this picture of Nathan Fillion and a giant freaking snake isn't disturbingly hot. Go on. He looks like the devil.
