An all-new House in the New Year??? WTF.
Same with BONES. Fox has decided to space their remaining episodes out is my guess. Not a bad plan if everybody else is going to be burning off theirs during the holidays (they've got tons of their animated shows stockpiled, although that will probably take a hit later in the process for them).
Sweeps will be a non-event this year, I suspect.
Isn't Idol starting up soon?
Yeah, there's that too. @@@@@@@@@@@
Well, at least I'll have more time to watch DVDs.
Bones: Isn't it odd that they showed it this week? Or is that due to Sweeps. (This was the first Christmas episode I've seen.)

I was wondering if they might have swapped episodes on this one - hope they didn't frell any continuity. I know REAPER was a rerun last week when it wasn't supposed to be.
HOUSE however was a perfect episode to leave off on until the new year (apart from there being no new HOUSE until the new year).
IOW, I just think Fox is going into conservation mode with new episodes.
My two Life promos so far:
oOOOooo, Juliebird, these are wonderful! Thank you! The first is a great juxtaposition of text and action and is perfect as an intro to the show. The second cracked me up, perfect timing text/action, esp. last shot. Heh.
Sorry, I have to post when I can.
Last night's Journeyman: It coalesced last night for me. I really like Katie now. The look she gave the guy down and kind of over her shoulder as he was making her open the refrigerator? I could imagine her thinking "If I knew krav maga [or other martial art], I would so kick your ass, buster." The knife thing didn't do anything for me though, but she's stronger and more resilient than I had been giving her credit for.
I loved the news editor. "Weirdest family ever." and that he had his own sources check out what he was being told by the Gman. (Made Jack look not so with-it, though.) Dan can't possibly be doing enough work to continue being employed but I'm glad they are being handwavey about it because it's a good cover for the scenario and editor is so fine.
Jack bugs. He held it together admirably talking to the Gman and when he saw Livia, but then he was a flake at the end with Dan and Katie. The guy is coming off like a loose cannon who can only pull it together under stress. Maybe that's the point but I'd have him make up his mind already and be one of the Scoobies.
Hmm, they call it struggling when it's drawing almost the same numbers as Bones? [link] I know, it's relative to the show airing before, but still. Apparently 3 more shows were ordered [link]
Kevin McKidd doesn't have the American accent as down as either Hugh Laurie or Damian Lewis; there's something too round about some of his words, like his mouth is having a hard time with them. Laurie and Lewis have a kind of stillness to them that he doesn't quite have either. But I'm liking the show a lot, it's a great companion to Bones IMO.
Reminder: All day "The Closer" marathon on Monday, December 3, followed by the two final eps.
