Re: Castle, one of my cop friends (who also loves the show) pointed out that there are rules about felony pursuits (and chasing a serial killer totally counts) that would have permitted Beckett to take the shot through the glass door of the subway train, since he was momentarily a stationary target. Granted, that's an Oregon rule but i suspect the laws in New York would be considerably more lenient. I still would be concerned about shooting through his head to an innocent bystander, so i'll give Beckett the benefit of the doubt.
Ok, moving on, i know we've all discounted the procedural aspect of the show, that just happened to come up in casual conversation tonight at work. Seriously.
did anyone else flash on Bringing Up Baby for the final scene with Sweets?
On an unrelated note, I was watching TV with my brother and his wife this weekend, and the DVD had a preview for Freaks and Geeks. I pointed out Sweets to them (they are both big Bones fans) and they freaked.
"Where's the mummy?"
Heh, my first thought was if it's slave girl number six that's missing, she's off to Sunnydale to mack on Xander Harris.
So the mummy is the grad student who supposedly became jaguar chow. Killed by the curator in a jealous rage after he stumbled across her and the assistant curator?
Awww, Esposito is Castle's porn friend.
I'm still a few minutes behind But I keep imagining an SPN crossover with this ep. It's pretty entertaining.
