So that explains that horrid sequence? Although I was amused by the first silhouetted pose behind the shower curtain. I couldn't quite tell, but it looked like, for once, a TV character was actually washing the important bits.

In the book Nikki Heat is attacked in her home when she's fresh from the bath. There is a big fight sequence with her in the buff.
Cool bit: as of this episode, all three boys from The Initiative from Buffy have guest-starred on Castle -- Bailey Chase (Graham) as Beckett's ex in S1, Marc Blucas as that amnesic victim, and Leonard Roberts (Forrest) as one of Shaw's team member in this one. Maybe one of the writers or producers of the show is a fan?
Lindsay Crouse would make it a perfect home run. With a character named Adam.
