You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

There was a tied up/gagged woman in the preview.

That was Dana Delaney.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Naked Beckett in peril ties in with the book

So that explains that horrid sequence? Although I was amused by the first silhouetted pose behind the shower curtain. I couldn't quite tell, but it looked like, for once, a TV character was actually washing the important bits.

my R key is sticking. Must get the crumbs out.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

In the book Nikki Heat is attacked in her home when she's fresh from the bath. There is a big fight sequence with her in the buff.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Cool bit: as of this episode, all three boys from The Initiative from Buffy have guest-starred on Castle -- Bailey Chase (Graham) as Beckett's ex in S1, Marc Blucas as that amnesic victim, and Leonard Roberts (Forrest) as one of Shaw's team member in this one. Maybe one of the writers or producers of the show is a fan?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Lindsay Crouse would make it a perfect home run. With a character named Adam.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, was that Forrest? He looked familiar but I didn't place him.

Oh, was that Forrest? He looked familiar but I didn't place him.

Art Crawl!!!

From the Futon Critic:

MONDAY'S RATINGS: "DANCING" RETURNS ON TOP Plus: "Castle" beats a first-run "CSI: Miami" for the first time ever.

Woo hoo!

Hulu has a great clip of the Castle cast Q&A at the Paley Center.

Does this link directly to the clip? [link] If not, it's called "An Evening with Castle".
