I haven't been watching L&O because I dislike Cutter so much. McCoy may have been an asshole at times, but he did it to get shit done. I think that Cutter's just a dick. And not in a good way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am your flip side. I love his insane need to win, and his willingness to throw anyone under the bus, including himself, to do so. And the minute the verdict's in he's this lost little boy.

I wouldn't be surprised, on a more emo show, to see Mike Cutter weeping in Connie's lap by the end of the season.

It was totally the bad guy calling her a spic that sent him from "I'm pissed at having to give him any slack" to spitting hissing venging mad. And even his old law professor thinks he's crazy.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Man, Jane Lynch is awesome on Criminal Minds. She and MGG just have such a dynamic.

Jane Lynch is incredibly talented. The way that she can play Diana Reid and Sue Sylvester is amazing.

Totally. Mike/Connie4evaahhhh!! Wait, did I just type that out loud?

I just watched the TiVo'd ep from last night, can't you tell? Plus, this is the most backstory on Cutter we got since he started 3 years ago. He went to Professor Ryan's for holidays because he had nowhere else to go, which implies what -- he's an orphan? Oh, the woobietastic backstory I can cook up, if only I were a fanfic writer!

Seriously I got chills down my spine when he let loose at that suspect in that plea bargain scene. He's a scary, win-at-all-costs, ruthless mofo. I love him a lot.

Yeah, he's my kind of psycho.

Okay--Diane Neal's character? I'd totally ship her with Gibbs. Toss Sofer, stat, and replace her with Neal. Hell, I'd ship Neal with Tony. She rocked.

Not to mention, Spencer's just such a total woobie in these eps.

Spencer is pretty much a woobie in every ep. Especially when Morgan's being his big brother.

Hell, yeah! She was really terrific. I liked the ep much more than I thought I would based on that lameass promo from last week--between Diane Neal and the doctor's wife, they actually had some interesting characters on the show. And DiNozzo's theory of homicide was true for once: The Wife Did It.
