Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.

This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Ryan and Esposito continue to crack me up re: Beckett's prompt about the Jonas brothers.

Seriously - what they've done with those two is one of my favorite things on the show.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Double Life angst, on account of the camera/videocamera being key to solving the crime, and Ryan and Esposito reminding me of Mutt and Jeff from the pilot of Life, who I'd always wished had been kept around.

brillig

House keeps forgetting that Wilson is *his* friend, ie, Wilson knows how his brain works and has nearly as twisted brain of his own.

Moving the two of them in together was an excellent move.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Did you all see the title of the latest Criminal Minds episode?

The Uncanny Valley.

Is this going to be a weird one?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm hoping it stays on the surreal side and doesn't go for flat out gross like the spinal surgery/pig eating or the eye-scooping. They set a high disturbance bar.

I'm so happy to have them back. I hope they hurry up and finish out the Salli Richardson plot. I want that nonsense done with. I only assume it's going to go badly.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I hope that they forget it all together. Of course, we're probably going to find out that they've been seeing each other secretly all of this time. ugh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't see them bothering to bring in a guest star and discard it, but that would be even better.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Damian Lewis has said he's not doing any more TV

He seems to be doing OK, though. [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Most of the reviews I read of Keira's performance were awful, and I flinched for him.

Also, selfishly, I want him where I can see him.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

NCIS: Tony's mother dying when he was 8 doesn't seem to fit with what I think Tony has said in the past.
