Damian Lewis has said he's not doing any more TV
He seems to be doing OK, though. [link]
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Most of the reviews I read of Keira's performance were awful, and I flinched for him.
Also, selfishly, I want him where I can see him.
NCIS: Tony's mother dying when he was 8 doesn't seem to fit with what I think Tony has said in the past.
I assumed he was orphaned at an early age and raised by petulant 6th graders...
House was unbelievable! I just skipped 600+ posts to see if y'all were squeeing in here. !! What an episode!! I shrieked with laughter when Wilson got down on his knee to propose to House WITH A RING, even! (The cats fled for other parts of the house.) I missed the first half-hour, so I'm not even sure who the heck that woman was, but it didn't matter. House/Wilson shippers will have a field day.
cereal, natter-diet long:
Still so bitter about Life.
I still have the TiVo season pass for it.
I haven't watched the last three episodes yet. I like having it not be over yet, for me. And oh yes, really miss it, especially the awesomeness of Season 1.
a memory of when I was duct-taped to the office chair by a venting, unfortunately married sergeant. It was funny until I realized I'd have to explain my situation to the Sergeant First Class.
Holy cow,jb, this sounds like quite the fabulous story. Details?
Mine DVR cut off when Wilson was continuing to sing (an effing debate ran long). Was there anything else significant at that point?
Chorus Line, at the end? They had some back and forth about him stopping singing if House would get rid of the couch, and then Wilson just kept singing while the camera panned around behind them and showed them both facing their tv. The end.
Did you all see the title of the latest Criminal Minds episode?
Oh! One of my neighbors is seriously hooked on this show. I'd never heard of it. If y'all are watching it, too. I'll have to check it out.
That's pretty much the story, java cat. My shift sergeant was having a bad day, stormed into the office, vented at me some, then asked if he could tie me up. I said sure, so long as I could still reach the keyboard. I typed up stuff for an hour or so, and then heard the SFC coming and hid my hands under the desk. After she left I tore my hands free and breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't tape me as securely as Castle's daughter did.
The House/Wilson antics were delicious.
If you ever do finish Life, make sure it's the as-aired-on-TV version, and not the DVD version. The replacement of the final two songs was a travesty. Especially since the last montage was beautifully edited to the unique cues within the song.
Aaaand, milkshake, just rewatched the final ten minutes of Life, and I feel just so so good.
I was hoping for something a lot more exotic from NCIS. I mean, when you use Robert Wagner, you should get something like a retired jewel thief, or a part-time spy, or something. Not a guy who apparently has just been chiseling people.
But Abby and McGee saying "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" was fun.
Nice to see Gibbs say good things about Tony. Of course, we still have Tony acting like a doof and doing yoga while on duty.
I wonder how the revelation of DiNozzo Sr. being a flamboyantly neglectful conman father will contribute to the fanfic emo manpain of Jr's childhood.
I went out of my way and watched CSI: Orange online. Phoenicks? Burnt to death? Really? Have you no professional shame, writers?
