Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Compassionately intolerant

Totally my bad.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Rewatched The Tribe, Criminal Minds. Blackwolf is one of the cops of the week I'd most like to see come back.

"At least I didn't shoot him."

I'd love to see Blackwolf again. He and Hotch had great chemistry.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I agree. Of course, when I saw him, I thought "Bobby!" (from Saving Grace *sniff*)

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I'm rewatching White Collar, and am catching some things I missed (from literally being out of the room as well as not realizing that this was a show where you should Pay Attention).

Well, oh em gee, I have seen the oh tee three.

Of all the scenes to miss, I missed Burke nearly crashing his Taurus because he was staring too intently at Neal during an . . . interesting conversation.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

People who saw last week's Castle, have you heard of, or seen, a movie called Unknown White Male?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have neither seen nor heard of it. How does it relate to Castle?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oy--here's the deal on the Criminal Minds spinoff--they're casting for the pilot, which doesn't feature any of our team:

a team that exists outside of FBI bureaucracy

So that's how they're getting around the "there's only one BAU" stricture? Kinda lame.

Character details.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So it's part of the FBI but outside FBI bureaucracy. It's the FBI's own Psych Black Ops? I really don't like this idea. Aren't the actual CM BAU folks supposed to be the best of the best; that's why they're there? If it doesn't fail, I hope I will be able to ignore it.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It's a documentary about a guy who gets amnesia. His friend recognizes him and comes to help him remember, but with amnesia, the guy is basically a brand new person. It's put together with footage from before and after that the friend had.
