That's a commonly mispronounced word. I think the battle may be loster on that than on decimate. I've heard more people use decimate right than say boo-ie.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Yep, still crazy.
I'm soooo glad they didn't cast him as Saul Tigh on BSG.
Sorry for the dup post!
That's a commonly mispronounced word.
not for someone who actually lives in the DC area.
Is that where Bowie was from? The other one? The funny sounding one?
Which character pronounced it wrong?
They were talking about Bowie, Maryland, not the knife or guy. I want to say it was Emily.
She's fairly new to the region. I think she moved to Virginia when she joined the BAU.
She's been there for three years. That's plenty of time. I mean, I lived in DC for four years, ten years ago, and I know how to say it!
When you live here, you hear that name a lot, it's a major landmark around here. The show made a mistake, I highly doubt that it was supposed to be a deliberate mispronunciation for Emily to show her unfamiliarity with the area.
Just trying to think up possible reasons. The meta is no doubt that it's filmed in LA and who knows where Paget is from.
