NCIS: Finally some good Abby scenes this week. And I love how she is still managing to get her work done without electricity when the team is struggling.

This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
I have a new game. Apparently Emily Procter hates David Caruso so they never have scenes together. Well, rarely. So the game is to spot them. Also to predict when the new black guy will give up and start phoning it in.
I thought it was weird when EP said that Cibrian would provide the show with sex appeal but maybe she was being catty about her current coworkers. Jonathan Togo has gained a lot of weight.
That will make Orange more interesting. Somehow I find myself watching it more than I plan to - I think it's because, new or late night reruns, it always finds a hole where there are no other options. Maybe it's actually creating some sort of creative vortex that sucks all decent programming off the air.
Cibrian kept me watching Third Watch for a while - he does bring the pretty.
CSI:Orange is everywhere these days. You get to see Alana De La Garza as the passive love object of HoCaine, instead of the bright beautiful principled lawyer apple of Cutter's eye.
I admit it. Still watching NCIS:LA. I can't get over the manufactured pain. I need to know how far they go with it. And the bromance.
Still wincing at Kenzie's eye. I know it's just a birthmark--it doesn't hurt. But it makes my eyes water to look at it.
I love Alana de la Garza's hair. I bet she straightens it. But the first season she was on was my ideal haircut.
David Milch refused to let on he was having a heart attack while talking to Caruso, he hated him that much. The Procter stuff doesn't surprise.

What?!
House: it is still really bugging me that House seems to be in less pain and leaning less on his cane now than in previous seasons, since he's supposedly now treating his pain with Advil. Pain that was severe enough to need Vicodin cannot be successfully treated with Advil.
how much advil is he taking? 800 mg of advil packs quite a punch. I know this from experience. It is comparable (IME) to low levels of vicodin.
There was also some discussion of this earlier that there's a meta reason for this - the limping was starting to cause physical problems for Laurie. As someone who goes through periods of limping due to chronic joint problems, I can sympathize. Even when the pain abates it's hard to lose the limp.
Yes, that is annoying. Even though I bet it's because limping so intently made HL hurt. Anyone else read about that and think "I'll wear my nurse outfit!" or was that just me being hard-up? Could House do the ketamine thing again? Or did his being shot create some kind of special opportunity?
