Now hold on, I'm gonna press the right pedal harder. I expect us to accelerate.

"We're investigators." "We called your dad."

And Castle's line to his Mom: "Unemployed divas who live in glass houses--rent free--shouldn't throw stones."

It's nice to see family interaction without angst.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Definitely more of a '80s crimesolving tv show vibe than a 2000s police procedural.

It's certainly got some parallels to Remington Steele.

Yeah, which I think fits better than the Moonlighting one it seems every reviewer seems duty-bound to try to find. I mean, they make each other crazy, but it's much more affectionate than David/Maddie(IMO)

Reading Heat Wave by weekly chapter releases is making me batty. I waited long enough to start that I got the first 7 chapters all at once.

It will be interesting to see how Beckett reacts once she has read it.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

They picked up on her knowledge of the modeling world really quick (it went right past Castle)

Oh, I saw that coming a mile away, as soon as they asked each other if they knew what a call sheet was.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Oh, I saw that coming a mile away, as soon as they asked each other if they knew what a call sheet was.

I figured they'd be following up on that, but I was surprised that Castle didn't pick up on it as well.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Castle and NCIS both used "Strangers on a Train" to solve their cases this past week. Weird coincidence.

Always Anti-fascist!

I watched "The Good Wife" last night. Liked it a lot...I kind of think it belongs in here due to the courtroom moments, but in some ways it doesn't. Dan's back on TV(well, it's Josh Something...where's he been?)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

"In treatment."
