Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Art Crawl!!!

Ah. THAT Nina. I didn't recognize her with the blonding. (Sad of me, isn't it? And yet I recognized the actresses name but couldn't place her.)

Is the tech guy who owned up not only to living with his mom but also to having a Captain Kirk costume, the same guy who used to be involved with Dani?

No, Dani's ex was a lot cuter and also darker in complexion.

And he was something more dangerous than a techie, wasn't he?

Although, I can't remember what.

I loved it when Dani started speaking Farsi. I wonder why she didn't start sooner? Possibly because of the whole thing about her father forbidding it?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Was I the only one who thought that Charlie totally wanted to mack on Nina? Holy smokin' chemistry! I mean, great that she didn't turn out to be a bad gal, but she sure screwed up her way too young boyfriend/love interest. Ick.

He's not WAY too young... fifteen years. That's bad but its not WAY bad.

I can't remember what Dani's ex was.

Trudy, yeah, the younger lover wasn't way bad, but where I was thinking she loved him like she didn't love her son, I was thinking she loved him like the son she wished she had, and then I realized thad she loved him loved him, which just gave me the ills. I think my squick was coming from expecting familiial love and having that turn in my head to something almost incestuous. But that's the process my brain had to go through.

Hey, hey now. I was 15 years younger than my DXH. Totally not way bad.

Can't wait to get Life streaming tomorrow. Reading y'all's comments beforehand though helps me to prep for what to look out for...and saves me a ton of head-scratching.

So, I'll be watching parts from the hall. Thanks for the heads-up!

it's not that bad, bonny. It was more my mistake when they said "love" I thought it was meant that she loved him like a son, and then it turns out a couple minutes later that she loved him like a lover. It took me a bit to make my brain understand that, and in that transition it equated to "She's in love her surrogate son?" before landing on "She's in love with someone her son's age"

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Camper Van Beethoven!

HA. I knew I knew that song, and then it came to me practically in the middle of the night.

This week's Life wasn't as good as last week's, I think, but we're getting actual backstory on people. Awesome.

Thrive to spite them

Did anyone watch NCIS last night? It was sort of interesting to get back story on Gibbs, but the storyline had problems. I couldn't believe that no one would find the money in those bags.

Criminal Minds was eh. They haven't recovered yet from Patkin leaving and I don't really like the new guy. I wish they hadn't brought a new person in and just let it be the team, but I guess that wouldn't have worked with the storyline of Hotch being forced out.
