This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cold Case is going to do an all Ray Charles soundtrack episode. Finally they go with someone I'm familiar with.

Past single-artist episodes of COLD CASE featured the music of John Lennon, Frank Sinatra, Nirvana, Johnny Cash, John Mellencamp, Bruce Springsteen, Tim McGraw, U2 and Bob Dylan.

Don't know as much about most of them as most people do. Liked the Johnny Cash episode a lot, and enjoyed the music selections especially.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Ack, wrong thread. Sorry.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My favorite TV usage of Ray Charles music was the Buffalo Bob ep where he was in trouble for racial insensitivity at the station and then he has a dream with the soundtrack of "Hit the Road, Jack." He's singing the Ray lyrics, and the judge and jury (all black) are telling him to "Hit the road, Jack, and don't ya come back no more..."

They reran "The Tribe" episode of Criminal Minds tonight. They need to give Hotch more fight scenes! He's very hot in this episode. Not sure why he's the only one of the BAU they sent in to the scene, but it sure worked out pretty. And Blackwolf is one of my favourite local LEOs.

Promo for Criminal Minds. Almost a month! I can't wait. And apparently MGG just tweeted that he goes under the knife again in a couple weeks. Poor sod.

Just realized that I posted this in Cable Drama since I'm watching the marathon on A&E, thought I would repost with people that could appreciate it.

Side note: how much do I love big/little brother vibe that Morgan and Reid have going on? Morgan telling Reid that he was Lila's hero was so adorable!

My favourite moment in that episode is when Morgan comes up to Reid on set and asks him mockingly if he would mind sharing and Reid walks off in the wrong direction. He's so cute when he's flustered.

Reid's such a woobie all of the time.

Between Morgan, Reid and Hotch I don't know where to give my attention. And it's not like I don't like the rest of the cast--Garcia and Emily rock, Rossi's quite cool, and JJ needs to have more material.

I just love those guys. Morgan tackling, Hotch dressing people down (the TWOP™ Hotchalanche), Reid waggling his fingers and working it out, Garcia getting her geek on, JJ working the room (for every "Hi, I'm Agent Jareau, we spoke on the phone." chug a drink), Emily being badassed, and Rossi being smooth and perceptive. And then they mix things up.

Very few things make me happier than Morgan tackling someone. So yummy. and he reads Vonnegut!
