“Not dead yet!”

And Hodgins and the interns continues to be a source of much hilarity.

Along with Cam's interactions with them. No wonder she's taken well to being the parent of a teenager-- she's essentially been a den mother for the last three years.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Whoa, Daniel Sunjata is being seriously, convincingly creepy as a Lecter-ish type on Lie To Me tonight.

Yeah--really good stuff there. I was totally impressed.

Yes, it was very good. I have to say that I totally got what Cal was doing from the beginning. Rape is about power, and what better way to manipulate a rapist by making him think that he has the power in the relationship.

Art Crawl!!!

Daniel Sunjata was really good.

Bones: I was happy that they came up with a medical reason for Booth to be having visions. (Even if a brain tumor seems v. soapy.)

brillig

At least they're explaining the weird things from earlier in the season. That's what I like about Bones, they know their own history.

I love watching Tim Roth work. He has that great actor thing, where even though he's not imposing looking in any way, you just can't take your eyes off him even if someone gorgeous and tall is standing right beside him.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

you just can't take your eyes off him even if someone gorgeous and tall is standing right beside him

Very much so. Because Sunjata's a dreamboat, but my eyes were more on Roth. He doesn't even play a likeable character (not nasty, just not empathetic) and I still can't get enough of him. He's definitely better than the show. Ooh, I should go read the fact-blog about this week's episode.

Compassionately intolerant

I'm with you Scrappy. I love Roth's performance.

I'll be honest, after seeing his other work, I didn't think I could be sympathetic to any character he might play on tv. Glad to be wrong.

On a weird, personal note, I would love to have someone like Lightman in my life. Not the manipulative stuff, of course, but the idea of having no pretense would give me a great sense of calm, I think.

he's not imposing looking in any way, but you just can't take your eyes off him even if someone gorgeous and tall is standing right beside him.

I would find being 'seen' in that way more attractive than any muscle. And by that, I do mean porn.

What I liked about it too, was Brennan's absolute certainty that something was wrong. This is, I think, the first time her brilliance has come into play for something that's very personal, rather than a case and I think it gave added urgency to that scene where she pulled him out of the interrogation room.

and I love that what made him go to the hospital was her looking him in the eyes and urging "trust me!"
