Very Happy that Medium was renewed. Love me some Jake Weber!

This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Did anyone see the new L&O:CI ep with Jeff Goldblum? Was it any good? I'm still so disappointed that Raines wasn't renewed that I might end up skipping him in another procedural just out of spite (well, that and the fact that I haven't watched L&O in any variety in years).
Kathy,
it wasn't bad, but Goldblum doesn't quite have his rhythm yet. I think it will be better in another ep or 2.
I thought it was good.
Damn--according to Mo Ryan at the Tribune, Life's been cancelled.
"Life" has been canceled for good.
According to this story in TV Week, if a new show was not on NBC's pickup list today, it will not be on in the fall.
Okay, but that doesn't make any sense. Chuck and Life both just finished their second seasons.
Good point--I wonder what its status is!
ETA: I just pointed that out to her in comments--I'll let you know if she responds.

Not sure I understand - please to explain?
Finally getting around to last Monday's Castle after the tepid reviews here, and while I agree the mystery ain't all that much, the fact that they have a man in a wheelchair who is a Capt. Pike pleases my geek sensibilities way too much.
This camerawork on House is making me dizzy. Which has actually happened in several episodes recently. Do we really need all those weird shots showing us what the character is seeing?
The Tribune story by Mo Ryan said:

That link said this:
However, if a new show in development wasn't announced today, it will not be on in the fall, he said.
So, it looks like Mo misread the article in TV Week (which didn't mention Life at all) and extrapolated that it was canceled. However, since it's not a "new show in development," the TV Week article doesn't apply to Life.
