I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

On another tip entirely, CSI:NY was well messed up. I've seen the story of Nazis escaping punishment by living as Jews, but this guy took it another level and raised an Orthodox son. I cannot imagine the stress that son is under, finding out he may not really be Jewish, and that his father was Hitler Youth.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

yep - that whole episode was f'ed up. (CSI)

I was flipping btw that and The Unusuals.

“Not dead yet!”

That was probably one of the best CSIs of any flavor in a long while. And Ed Asner was positively chilling at the end.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I mean we didn't really see the precipitating event.

I meant him being told that the kid was moving to California.

“Not dead yet!”

Whoever wrote this episode of Bones is an Animal House fan. The character blaring through the bullhorn is named Greg Marmalard who was one of the evil frat boys. (Okay, actually, hearing it sans bullhorn, it's Harmalard, but still, close.)

And the dean of students is Vernon Warner (Wormer).

And the episode name is the Beaver in the Otter.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm halfway through House. There are some great lines in this episode.

“Oh, God, not her! She’s the one who got me hooked in with Madoff!”

“The main reason my third wife and I eloped was to avoid House’s bachelor party. Have you ever seen Caligula?”

brillig

I hope the mid-show recap for Bones is a short-lived experiment.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I didn't even notice it tonight. I've got to stop doing dishes during the show. But you're right -- I usually see the actors and start watching, only they're not the characters, they're themselves. But in costume on set. Which is jarring and just isn't right.

Ditto. What do they think people might be switching over from? Something on NBC, I guess - they're the only ones with Thursday sitcoms, right?
