I liked the ep for the focus on Reid and his past problems. Damned Dawson Leery, fucking his shit up.
Yeah, I'm glad when traumatic things actually carry over.
I'm still kind of annoyed at Bones not having more fallout from the buried-in-the-car episode.

Yeah, I didn't like the resolution on that.
Having bumped into a few episodes of Bones in rerun I was wondering--one of the team turned out to be an apprentice of one of their nemeses, right? It was the soft-spoken nerd (yeah, that helps) who worked with Hodges a lot? Which bad guy was he emulating?
Which bad guy was he emulating?
Zach was the apprentice of Gormogon, a guy who showed up at the beginning of that season who was eating people who matched various arcane stereotypes (not a good word) and who was making status/sculptures out of significant bones of his victims.
Zack Adderly - he apprenticed himself to Gormagon (serial killer and cannibal).
ah ... the classic Buffista x-post
Zach Addey/Addy
t pedant, the Buffista tag that never closes.
Okay, cool. I think I did just see a Gormagon ep.
An episode this season calls into question just how much Zach was responsible for, but I've heard they did that because so manyh people were upset by what they did to poor, lovable Zach.
Was he the apprentice from before they encountered him? In the story, and in the writer's heads?
I was kind of annoyed with Criminal Minds, because I thought it was so obvious where they were going with it.
I kind of felt that it was supposed to be obvious to the audience-- they certainly gave us enough clues, but not so many as for it to be obvious to the team. And of course, I really liked the focus on Reid.
