I really enjoyed Life last night. The Kiss shout out, my favorite guilty pleasure hairband anthems,
Me too! I was really amused by some of the background music.
Numb3rs: James Marsters and Ray Wise equals a great episode.
SO entertaining.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

Jonathan LaPaglia was back in Cold Case tonight.
He was on before? Was he this amusing?
Okay, was this bring back Vortex's childhood memories week? first, I relive my 80's hair band love. and I just watched this week's Psych; Sean says "you two are my least favorite tag team ever" and the random guy says "Really? With Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkov on the table?"
HAR.
Huh. Not really the greatest episode of House, I thought. All of the back and forths with the sort of "He's saying this so that you'll do that because he thinks that you'll think he actually wants you do to that other thing" just went on way too long without nearly enough payoff.
(And with the simchat bat, they got most of the words right but so many details wrong. Which is fairly standard for TV, but this show has done better before.)
"He's saying this so that you'll do that because he thinks that you'll think he actually wants you do to that other thing"
This is why I'm really starting to tire of House. It's the same thing every week. In fact, if I were trying to demonstrate my point, I'd just repeat your quote over and over but since that's what I'm sick of, I'll just say "see above".

But it's so simple. All I have to do is divine from what I know of you: are you the sort of man who would put the poison into his own goblet or his enemy's? Now, a clever man would put the poison into his own goblet, because he would know that only a great fool would reach for what he was given. I am not a great fool, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you. But you must have known I was not a great fool, you would have counted on it, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me.
The only thing I watch "House" for anymore is House and Wilson and, to a degree, Cuddy. The new minions amuse me, except for 13's drama. Taub and whatisface are funny.
Closer:
looks like at least one member of Brenda's team is leaving. I think I know which are the 2 possibilities. I just don't know which one of the 2 is likeliest to go.
Yeah, I like Daniels and Gabriel both. I've noticed that lately he and Brenda haven't been as inseparable as they once were (possibly due to the falling out that they had). Frankly, he seems to be the one with the problem.
The scene where they were reading the text messages was interesting.
Little is wrong with House that couldn't be improved with less Thirteen. I'm beginning to Hellish her. Taub reminds me the most of my real doctors...
