"He's saying this so that you'll do that because he thinks that you'll think he actually wants you do to that other thing"
This is why I'm really starting to tire of House. It's the same thing every week. In fact, if I were trying to demonstrate my point, I'd just repeat your quote over and over but since that's what I'm sick of, I'll just say "see above".
All of the back and forths with the sort of "He's saying this so that you'll do that because he thinks that you'll think he actually wants you do to that other thing" just went on way too long without nearly enough payoff.
But it's so simple. All I have to do is divine from what I know of you: are you the sort of man who would put the poison into his own goblet or his enemy's? Now, a clever man would put the poison into his own goblet, because he would know that only a great fool would reach for what he was given. I am not a great fool, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you. But you must have known I was not a great fool, you would have counted on it, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me.
The only thing I watch "House" for anymore is House and Wilson and, to a degree, Cuddy. The new minions amuse me, except for 13's drama. Taub and whatisface are funny.
Closer:
looks like at least one member of Brenda's team is leaving. I think I know which are the 2 possibilities. I just don't know which one of the 2 is likeliest to go.
Yeah, I like Daniels and Gabriel both. I've noticed that lately he and Brenda haven't been as inseparable as they once were (possibly due to the falling out that they had). Frankly, he seems to be the one with the problem.
The scene where they were reading the text messages was interesting.
Little is wrong with House that couldn't be improved with less Thirteen. I'm beginning to Hellish her.
Taub reminds me the most of my real doctors...
I just saw Hardison (from Leverage) on
Bones.
I liked that Foreman and Thirteen put one over on House, although I don't care enough about them as a couple to have been worrying much about them. (Well, maybe for Foreman's career). I liked House's portmanteau "Fore-teen" for a second, since I dislike portmanteaux in general. The whole Cuddy-House-Wilson party thing was tedious. The piano piece at the end was lovely and would've been terrific AT the party, but on the hand, it was lovely there and he seemed at peace with being by himself. I want more Cameron and Chase any time soon now. I'm sorry I missed the Cameron-takes-Cuddy's job ep, that might have satisfied that itch.
Is it my imagination, or did 13 make a big effort to move her face last night? I guess it can move after all.
I just saw Hardison (from Leverage) on Bones.
Oh, I think he's got a guest spot in Nathan Fillion's new show too.
Does anyone else get a "Bones" vibe off of the "Castle" promos? I like Nathan, but the quirky guy-straightlaced police-type lady thing is getting old.
