The Tribune's Mo Ryan has an excellent look at Life. IIRC, she wasn't a big fan of the show back in season 1, but reading that, it seems to have grown on her.

I didn't think we'd find out about Charlie's shooter that quickly, or that Charlie would deal with it that quickly, or that the reveal would be so awesomely edited and poetically filmed (Charlie taking his power stance in front of the sun).
Also? the whole bullet thing ... wow.
I know!
Plus - this means we're going to see the Russian again.
Huzzah! Bones is revisiting the Gravedigger storyline. That loose end has been flapping in the breeze for what, 2 seasons now?
It looks like they recast the writer.
My God, I'm ducking anvils already and we're only 15 minutes in. Booth's jungle/combat flashbacks and conversations with the hallucination are going to be excruciating.
I think Bones has jumped the shark. I am not sure I can finish this episode. This is one in a line of bad eps.
I can't figure out what the hallucination is supposed to be. He is actively interacting with Booth. Is this going be all just in his head?
Okay, that was just weird. Usually this show is well grounded in reality. I don't know what to think.
