c.s.i.: evil cliffhanger.
Yeah it was. No new ep until 15 January. I wasn't super sure that the whole connecting-recent-case-to-old-crime thing worked, and it felt a little more like watching an episode of Criminal Minds than an ep of CSI, but still.
(I really want Grissom to go to Lady Heather at the end of his run, but he'll probably go to Sara.)

feh. I'm sure that it's going to be Sara, because otherwise, he wouldn't have to leave. I never liked the character of Sara, and I liked her even less when they got involved. I loved Lady Heather from the very beginning. I loved her when she was reading Grissom perfectly, I loved her when she was beating the shit out of the guy who killed her daughter. I got a little teary when the moment she said "I think that you just said 'stop' "
Lady Heather is probably one of my favorite characters in any show I watch; I loved how she always had Grissom's number, about the things he wasn't willing to admit to himself; I love that they have always had a very adult relationship, as compared to the hero-worshipping mentor thing with Grissom/Sara that always smacked of "they are so not in the same place, and it shows." I love that he went to Heather when he needed comfort, and that it threw Heather off her game enough for it to be effortless. They are my sunset ending for Grissom, and I am certain I will be nothing but disappointed at how he actually exits.
Part of me hopes he goes off alone. I just think that's ultimately fitting for Grissom. I'd like that to occur now
and then him show up periodically as the script calls for him to and then maybe in a year, he ends up with Heather.
FWIW - I want Lady Heather to show up on CSI every so often with our without Grissom. I think she could help CSI investigation, especially given her new profession.
What is her new profession? I gave up CSI a couple of seasons ago.
She's a licensed therapist. I don't know that she's given up the dominatrix gig, she may just have a day job.
I'm so far behind on all viewing. I'm up to here: I didn't capture the end of the long House (where a gunman takes House, 13, and others hostage to force someone to diagnose his illness). When my recording device cut off, 13 had been injected with something that looked like it had put her in a coma, lying on the CT machine, only then she sat up and started talking. Cut to black. What happened next?
What happened next?
It's been a while, but House gets the gun from the guy in order to do the CT, but he gives back the gun so he can continue diagnosing. In order to get another drug to try, they have to release another hostage, and House tries to get the guy to release 13. Instead, House gets shoved out the door, and there's a nifty scene where gunman says he has to inject 13 to test the drug, but it will probably kill her. And then 13 realizes she's not that hot to die and she begs him not to inject her. He decides not to, injects himself, collapses I think, and the cops storm the room.
13 is taken off, the gunman is hauled away, he and House stare at each other, House makes a "So how do you feel?" gesture and the gunman nods.
13 wakes up in ICU with Foreman sitting next to her, and she says she wants to try the experimental Huntington's program.
Cuddy goes into her office and is amazed at the damage. House comes in to get his cane. She gives him an "I was so worried" look, and he shrugs. Some talking, and she asks, "Do you want this to be some sort of relationship?" and he says, "God, no."
He leaves and she sits down and fiddles with her desk. We then discover that what House was doing was turning her center desk drawer upside down so that when she pulls it out everything falls out.
Oh THANK YOU So. Much. Connie. Wow, that's a lot of character progression for 13, Foreman, Cuddy & House in the last 10 minutes! I'm so happy you guys are here!

Heh. If she had pigtails, he'd be dipping them into his inkwell.
