Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.

Hee! SO tempting!
...and you know, in the episode of
NUMB3RS
that features Lionel Luthor, er, whatsisname, thingy,
(eta
John Glover) as a psychic
Larry and Charlie have an argument about the Stargate program.
Man, my head about exploded at that point. Okay, so they're just referring to it as the government using psychics - but please, that barely merits a handwave. In the SG shows, the government is hardly 'fessing up to all the alien shenanigins, so - sure. Cover story. And Larry? Would TOTALLY accept the notion of the gates and the aliens and all that jazz. Wouldn't throw him even a little bit - he'd be very excited and earnest about it all. Which is why he's
in the Pegasus Galaxy right now.

Fay! I've been waiting to hear if you have seen the past season of Numb3rs. How much of it have you seen so far? I really missed Larry this past season, but the space storyline was cool.
Let's see...I've watched four of the six disks, at this point. Larry has gone to the Pegasus Galaxy space, and Don has a little something something going on with Agent McHottie. Charlie still has big puppy dog eyes and adorable curls, but he also seems to be successfully holding down a relationship with the ravishing Amita, to my pleasant surprise.
...if I weren't so thoroughly charmed by Larry/Megan, I would still be all over shipping Larry/Charlie, because they are the slashiest thing that ever slashed in slash town. Only - I love Megan, and Larry deserves a relationship with a grownup.
There was a lot of hoyay in the beginning of the season from what I remember.
I love Larry/Megan, but Charlie/Amita sort of bored me this season. They don't have as much chemistry as they did in season 1.
As for cross overs, I've been thinking NCIS/SGA. NCIS is always investigating dead Marines, and if SGA-ers were on Earth with their own Marines and something happened and they weren't able to cover it up before Gibbs et al. got hold of it . . .
I thought Charlie/Amita kinda hotted up in the last few episodes.
Ngah! So I've finished watching Season 3 of NUMB3RS, and I confess that I find myself irritated on several scores.
1) What. The. Hell. was with Larry wearing the stupid string thing? I found this very irritating. I'm not saying that it was an impossible sell that he'd have used such a device to record his thoughts, but hanging it around his neck struck me as a cheap trick to amp up the crazy whacky eccentric nerd thing, and it irritated the hell out of me. I'd have been less irritated if he'd been holding it, even. But wandering around wearing it...no. No.
2) Whilst I admire the HSQ of the final episode, it made me sad because (1) I really had grown to like Colby a lot and (2) it didn't seem to actually gel with the previous storyline about the old army buddy. It's a while since I saw the episode, but it smelled strongly of retcon to me.
Also, the death of Megan/Larry and the way that the Larry-Charlie friendship was summarily dealt with annoyed me.

me too, and not just because Colby is my baby. And I want to do dirty, dirty things to him. And then I want to watch David "nurse him back to health"
