brillig

As for cross overs, I've been thinking NCIS/SGA. NCIS is always investigating dead Marines, and if SGA-ers were on Earth with their own Marines and something happened and they weren't able to cover it up before Gibbs et al. got hold of it . . .

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I thought Charlie/Amita kinda hotted up in the last few episodes.

Art Crawl!!!

Preview for Bones 3. 01

NOT a promo - looks more like a sneak peak type thing.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Ngah! So I've finished watching Season 3 of NUMB3RS, and I confess that I find myself irritated on several scores.

1) What. The. Hell. was with Larry wearing the stupid string thing? I found this very irritating. I'm not saying that it was an impossible sell that he'd have used such a device to record his thoughts, but hanging it around his neck struck me as a cheap trick to amp up the crazy whacky eccentric nerd thing, and it irritated the hell out of me. I'd have been less irritated if he'd been holding it, even. But wandering around wearing it...no. No.

2) Whilst I admire the HSQ of the final episode, it made me sad because (1) I really had grown to like Colby a lot and (2) it didn't seem to actually gel with the previous storyline about the old army buddy. It's a while since I saw the episode, but it smelled strongly of retcon to me.

Also, the death of Megan/Larry and the way that the Larry-Charlie friendship was summarily dealt with annoyed me.

me too, and not just because Colby is my baby. And I want to do dirty, dirty things to him. And then I want to watch David "nurse him back to health"

Yeah, that broke my heart a bit. I did like that at least we got a glimpse of what a mighty OWCH it was, with the tears standing out in David's eyes and all, but - yeah. Not an earned piece of HSQ, imho.

(...perhaps there could be fabulous fic, though? With David and the anger and the proving of self and....but, you know, I just sort of wish canon hadn't done that.)

Art Crawl!!!

It was definitely out of the blue but I hope that the repercussions will happen in the new season.

Hmmm, haven't seen any new promos but I haven't been watching CBS either.

I have an unfinished fic with Colby and David in the one with the blackouts where they're watching the station from Lookout Point and couples are making out all around them.

Nice.

....aw, now I'm feeling sad for the characters again.

Art Crawl!!!

So, I figured that I hadn't seen any Numb3rs previews because I haven't really been watching CBS but when I searched youtube I also found none. And over at TWOP people are complaining that they haven't seen any either.

What is up with that?
