And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

Just Booth and Bones talking about how Sweets and the girl would never last because they had nothing in common and common ground was the key to a lasting relationship, then Booth, at least, looked at her and did an awkward kind of shrug. I guess the director figured we wouldn't get the "They're talking about themselves, how clever!" thing.

Well, Sweet and new girl could have stuff in common. Why would Bones and Booth know about it?

(Like - for example - geeky interests in Scifi and Fantasy novels, tv, movies.)

I think it was more personality traits than interests. Logical/analytical vs. touchy/feely.

I admit, I was utterly surprised by Sweets/Daisy. I'm actually kind of pleased Sweets is getting some. He's growing on me.

Re: Life, I can't believe that Ben was so freaking stupid. Some guy claims that he killed the girl with a knife with his fingerprints on it, and he just gives the guy money? Ridiculous. Also, I was annoyed with how calm he was with the police with the "bodyguard" in the kitchen. I would have bought it more if he was really jumpy, then tried to pass it off as being nervous about the girl's death.

Also, was the thing about the plastic surgery at the end really true, or were they just yanking his chain/trying to get him to confess?

I'm loving his increasing annoyance with everyone dropping by his office without an appointment.

Vortex, I couldn't decide if it was true or they were yanking his chain. . . or even if it were possible so that they had to be yanking his chain.

L&O: did not like.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't understand how they could remove a tattoo and reveal a completely obscured one.

Sumi, what didn't you like about L&O? New detective?
